NWWA Quiz

Each year Jagruti NWWA organizes a quiz competition amongst the students of KV No.1, Colaba, Mumbai, KV No.2, Colaba, Mumbai, KV No.3, Colaba and NCS.

It gives me great pleasure to inform you all that KV No.1 has bagged the rotating shield continuously for the last 2 years. The children participating were

Navy Week Painting Competition

With great pride, I wish to inform you all that during the Navy Week celebrations held in Nov, amongst the four neighbouring schools, KV No.1 bagged the maximum number of prizes in all the categories. 

It is worth mentioning that KV No.1, bagged the maximum prizes i.e 6 out of 18. Kudos to their Art teacher Sh. Mukim.

Philately Day Competition

Many children participated in the Philately Day Competition and brought laurels for the Vidyalaya.

In Essay Writing Competition: -

English: - Cheryl Thomas – 2^nd prize 

Hindi: - Rashmi Singh – 1^st prize

            Sonal Singh – 2^nd prize

            Priyanka Singh – 3^rd prize

Painting Competition

Juniors: - Sayali Mandlik – 1^st prize

            Babbly Singh – 2^nd prize

            Meryl Thomas – 3^rd prize 

Seniors: - Niti Priya – 1^st prize 

All these children got a Philatilic deposit accounts of Rs. 200/- besides prizes and certificates.  

Many children participated in Scrabble Competition, Talent hunt, etc and got an exposure to the talent in the other private schools. The children of our Vidyalaya subscribe to various newspapers e.g. Times, DNA, etc. Newspaper is a very important tool in education & Times NIE felicitated the meritorious students of class X with momentoes.
