Chemistry Lab of Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Colaba is well equipped with latest apparatus. There is a provision to conduct practical of 24 students at a time. There are six sections of Science Stream in senior secondary section. Practicals are conducted for two batches in a day.

There are 3 PGT (Chemistry) teachers and 1 Lab Attendant for taking care of Chemistry practicals of Class XI and XII Science.

Besides this, practicals are conducted for classes IX and X in the Vidyalaya for middle school children.
